Robotics Engineer

何をやるか
- 汎用AIロボット「Palmimo」のロボットシステム開発（機構・アクチュエーター・センサー選定、制御、組み込みソフトウェア）
- 各業界の企業とのPhysical AI案件における、実機・現場環境でのロボットシステム構築と実証実験
- AIエンジニアと連携した、AIモデルと実機の接続（動作制御、テレオペレーション、データ収集基盤）
- 試作から小ロット生産・出荷までを見据えたハードウェア設計改善、信頼性・安全性の向上
技術スタック
開発言語: Python, C/C++
ロボット: Palmimoなどの自社ロボットに加えて、Unitreeなど他社のロボット、OSSロボットなど
その他: ROS, 物理シミュレーター（Isaac Sim, MuJoCo等）, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure
必須条件
- ロボットまたはハードウェアプロダクトの開発実務経験（機構設計・回路・組み込みソフトウェア・制御のうち複数領域）
- Python または C/C++ での開発経験
- AI・機械学習技術への強い関心（生成AI・LLMを日常的にキャッチアップ・活用していること）
- ハード・ソフト・MLの境界を越えて、自ら手を動かして学び続けられること
歓迎条件
- 脚式ロボット・多自由度ロボットの開発経験
- サーボアクチュエーター（Dynamixel、Feetech等）を用いたロボット開発経験
- ROS等のロボットミドルウェア、物理シミュレーターを用いた開発経験
- テレオペレーション・モーション生成に関する知見
- IoTデバイスの開発や、エッジデバイスとクラウドの連携の経験
- 量産設計・製造委託・品質管理の経験
- 個人開発・OSS・ロボコン等でのロボット/ハードウェア製作経験
- AIを活用した業務効率化の経験、またはそれに取り組む熱意（物理世界の業務を含む）
- 実機ハードウェアの計測治具の設計および定量評価の経験
- 実機ハードウェア上での音声信号処理の経験
- 画像処理およびカメラ統合の経験
- CAD/CAM、およびCADと物理シミュレーターを接続するパイプライン構築の経験
- 複数の専門領域が連携する環境での業務経験
言語について
- 日本語もしくは英語：ビジネスレベル以上
What you’ll do
- Develop robot systems for our general-purpose AI robot Palmimo (mechanism, actuator and sensor selection, control, embedded software)
- Build and validate robot systems in real-world environments for Physical AI projects with companies across industries
- Connect AI models to physical robots in collaboration with AI engineers (motion control, teleoperation, data collection infrastructure)
- Improve hardware design for reliability and safety, from prototyping through small-lot production and shipping
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience developing robots or hardware products (multiple areas among mechanical design, circuit design, embedded software, and control)
- Development experience in Python or C/C++
- Strong interest in AI and machine learning (daily catch-up on and use of generative AI / LLMs)
- Willingness to work and learn across hardware, software, and ML boundaries
Preferred qualifications
- Experience developing legged or high-DoF robots
- Experience with servo actuators (Dynamixel, Feetech, etc.)
- Experience with robot middleware such as ROS and physics simulators (Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, etc.)
- Knowledge of teleoperation and motion generation
- Experience developing IoT devices or connecting edge devices with the cloud
- Experience with design for mass production, contract manufacturing, and quality control
- Robot or hardware projects through personal work, OSS, or robot competitions
- Experience with, or strong enthusiasm for, streamlining operations with AI (including physical-world work)
- Experience designing measurement rigs and conducting quantitative evaluations on physical hardware
- Experience with audio signal processing on physical hardware
- Experience with image processing and camera integration
- Experience with CAD/CAM and building pipelines between CAD and physics simulators
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment

- Business-level Japanese or English
